Our Mission
I'm a software executive with over 30 years in software and a lifetime of business experience, based in the UK. Most of those years I spent building complex enterprise software for other companies, the kind of systems that need months of training to use, dashboards no-one looks at, and roadmaps that drift further from real user needs every quarter.
Eventually I got tired of waiting for someone else to ship the small, focused tools I actually needed. So I started Agentic Mods. The idea is simple: build the utilities I wished existed, lean enough to keep pricing competitive, well-crafted enough to be a pleasure to use, and intelligent enough to actually help.
Every Agentic Mods product starts with a problem I've hit personally. Not a market opportunity. Not a category. A specific frustration. If I can't articulate the problem in one sentence, the product doesn't exist yet.
The Barlow pocket knife has been produced in Sheffield, England for over 300 years. Once considered the cutting edge in pocket knives, today it's widely regarded an enduring classic because of its simple design, and the high-quality materials and superb craftsmanship of the region. It was mentioned in Mark Twain's books, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. From cutting edge to classic, that's what we aim for.
